Fantasy overview
Fantasy is not open yet. Participants cannot join a fantasy competition, draft a squad or score points in one today, so there is nothing to set up and nothing to run. Tipping, Margin and Bracket competitions are the ones to run now.
When it opens, a fantasy competition will be the fourth competition type a hub can run. Instead of picking the winner of each fixture, participants draft a squad of individual players and score on those players’ performances. It will live in your hub like any other competition: under your logo, colours and domain, covering one sport, league and season, and open to your hub’s participants.
Plan limits when fantasy opens
Section titled “Plan limits when fantasy opens”These are the limits that will apply once fantasy is open. They do not unlock anything today.
| Plan | Fantasy competitions |
|---|---|
| Free | Not included |
| Starter | 1 |
| Growth | 3 |
| Pro | Unlimited |
| Scale | Unlimited |
| Enterprise | Unlimited |
The number is how many fantasy competitions your hub can hold, not how many can run at the same time. Every fantasy competition that has not been deleted counts toward it: a draft, a running one, and one that has finished or been archived.
A fantasy competition will also be a competition like any other, so once it is published it takes one of your plan’s places for competitions running at once. Saved as a draft, it does not. See Billing and plans for that limit on each plan.
A Season Pass or Bracket Pass does not add fantasy competitions, so a Free hub holding one will still need the Starter plan or above.
Because a participant has nothing to play yet, hold off saving a fantasy competition: it would count toward your plan’s limit without giving anyone a way to take part.
How it will differ from a public fantasy game
Section titled “How it will differ from a public fantasy game”A Fanzava fantasy competition is white-label. It carries your organisation’s brand, not ours, and it belongs to your hub rather than to a public game anyone can sign up for.
Its participants will be your hub’s participants: staff, customers, members or fans, whoever your hub is for. A hub admin will decide who can see it and run it beside the hub’s other competitions.
